Brian Chesky was at La Cantine 2 weeks ago to give his vision and insights on the Sharing Economy : “People are going to share everything. I think there is a larger trend of people online going offline and connecting together. The idea of people sharing food and other types of natural resources is really interesting. People sharing idle time, their skills, or their knowledge… It is truly a movement in the global economy.”

Tom Sachs runs one of the most creative art studio of  NYC. Despite his proclivity for thumbing his nose at authority, Sachs is, in fact, a taskmaster in the studio. Managing 15 assistants and overseeing his many labor-intensive projects requires creativity as well as equal parts discipline, precision and consistency. “I want things clean and organized,” Sachs says, “so that my brain can think.”

To be honest, even if I can get mad when our meeting rooms are not clean and chairs at the right place, it sounds a bit too extremist. Not to say… fascist ?

This impressive e-health start up develops medical sensors to diagnose illnesses without any sample, contact or even cooperation from the patient. This trailer is undoubtedly no science-fiction and this “Medical Tricorder” could be a new feature on your iPhone soon !
